By installing, accessing, or using the FastSolve Chrome extension or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

FastSolve is an AI-powered study assistant that helps users understand educational content. The Service provides AI-generated explanations and answers to questions from educational platforms. FastSolve is designed to be a learning aid and supplement to your education.

3. User Responsibilities

By using FastSolve, you agree to:

  • Use responsibly: You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and any consequences that may result.
  • Comply with policies: You must comply with your educational institution's academic integrity policies and honor codes.
  • Understand limitations: You acknowledge that FastSolve is a study aid and not a substitute for learning. AI-generated answers may not always be accurate.
  • Provide accurate information: You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

FastSolve is intended for:

  • Homework assistance and study support
  • Understanding concepts and learning material
  • Practice and self-assessment
  • Educational research and exploration

You agree NOT to use FastSolve:

  • In violation of your institution's academic integrity policies
  • To misrepresent AI-generated work as your own original work
  • To engage in any illegal activity
  • To reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
  • To circumvent any access restrictions or security measures

5. Account Terms

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • You may only maintain one account per person
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

6. Subscription Plans

Free Plan: Limited to 10 questions per day with basic features.

Pro Plans: Unlimited questions with additional features and priority support. Pro subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected (weekly, monthly, or annual).

  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and technology, is owned by FastSolve. You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as questions). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

  • No accuracy guarantee: AI-generated responses may contain errors. Always verify important information.
  • No academic outcome guarantee: We do not guarantee any particular grades, scores, or academic outcomes.
  • No liability for consequences: We are not responsible for any academic, professional, or personal consequences resulting from your use of the Service.
  • Service availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FASTSOLVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR ACADEMIC STANDING, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the extension and contacting us to delete your account data.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections regarding disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law survive termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on our website or within the extension. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FastSolve operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
