What is Schoology?

Schoology was founded in 2009 and acquired by PowerSchool in 2019. It's most common in U.S. K-12 districts and increasingly used in dual-enrollment college programs. Schoology Enterprise (institutional deployments) and standard Schoology share the same assessment engine, so tools that work on one work on the other.
