Real reviews from the Chrome Web Store, where FastSolve is rated 4.4 out of 5 across 20 ratings.
“I've been using FastSolve Chrome Extension for a bit now and honestly it's super fast and really easy to use. You literally just double click a question and it gives you an answer almost instantly, which is kinda crazy. It works on a lot of different types of questions too, not just multiple choice. What I like most is how lightweight it is; it doesn't slow down my browser at all and everything feels smooth. The answers are usually accurate and helpful, especially when I'm stuck or just need a quick explanation.”

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. In Invisible mode, FastSolve has zero visual footprint — no overlays, no loading indicators, no DOM modifications that proctoring software can detect. The answer simply appears in the input field as if you typed it yourself. Even screen recording and screenshare monitoring cannot detect it.
FastSolve handles multiple choice, multiple select, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, short answer, essay, matching, and ordering questions. It automatically detects the question type and formats the answer appropriately for each input field.
Most questions are answered in under 2 seconds. Multiple choice and true/false are typically under 1 second. Essays and longer responses take 2-4 seconds. The answer auto-populates instantly once generated.
FastSolve works on Canvas (Instructure), Blackboard, Moodle, Brightspace (D2L), ALEKS, Schoology, Knewton, and Learnosity. Our generic adapter also handles most quiz platforms we haven't specifically optimized for.
Absolutely. Questions are processed in real-time and not stored permanently. We use encrypted HTTPS for all communications, and your authentication tokens are stored securely in Chrome's local storage. We never sell or share your data.
Sign up for a free account, install the Chrome extension, and you're ready to go. Double-click any question on a supported LMS platform and watch FastSolve work its magic. Free accounts get 10 questions per day.
FastSolve has a free tier (10 questions/day, multiple-choice support) and three Pro tiers: Pro Weekly at $9.99/week, Pro Monthly at $19.99/month, and Pro Annual at $99/year. Pro tiers include unlimited questions, every question type, and dual AI (Claude + GPT-4o). You can cancel any time.
Yes. The free tier includes 10 questions per day with no credit card required. That's enough to try FastSolve on a real Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle quiz before deciding whether to upgrade.
Every academic subject — math (algebra through calculus), statistics, chemistry, biology, physics, computer science, business, economics, history, English, foreign languages, philosophy, psychology, and more. FastSolve routes harder STEM problems to a reasoning model and lighter questions to a faster model to keep latency under 2 seconds.
Multiple choice and true/false: very high — typically 98%+ on standard college coursework. Fill-in-the-blank and short answer: high. Essays: graded as B/A on most rubrics. Multi-step math: high but not perfect; always read the worked solution before submitting on adaptive systems like ALEKS.
Yes. Questions are sent to AI providers (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT-4o) over encrypted HTTPS for real-time processing only. Question content is never stored permanently on FastSolve servers. We never sell or share student data. See the privacy policy for full retention and AI-provider details.
Yes. FastSolve runs on Chrome OS like any other Chrome extension — install from the Chrome Web Store, sign in, and double-click questions. Performance is identical to Windows or macOS Chrome.
No. FastSolve is a Chrome extension, and the native Canvas Student, Blackboard Learn, and Schoology mobile apps don't host browser extensions. Open your LMS in a Chromium desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc) for FastSolve to work.
FastSolve runs as a regular Chrome extension and fills inputs the way typing does. There's no overlay, no popup, no DOM modification, and no extra entry in LMS quiz logs. On screenshare and screen recording, only the LMS UI is visible. The exception: Respondus LockDown Browser disables every extension; FastSolve cannot run there.
ChatGPT is a general-purpose chatbot. FastSolve is a purpose-built LMS extension. ChatGPT requires you to copy the question, paste it into a separate tab, and copy the answer back — which proctoring software flags as a tab switch. FastSolve detects the question in the LMS DOM and auto-fills the answer in place in 2 seconds, with no tab switch.
Chegg is a Q&A database — you search for a matching question someone else already asked. FastSolve generates a fresh AI answer for the exact question you're shown. Chegg requires leaving your LMS to search; FastSolve auto-fills directly inside Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, and other LMS platforms.
Mathway is a math-only calculator that requires you to retype the problem into its editor. FastSolve solves every subject (not just math) and reads the question directly from your LMS — no retyping. Mathway also lives in a separate tab; FastSolve is invisible on screenshare.
Pro plans include the dual-model architecture (Claude + GPT-4o) which routes harder questions to whichever model handles that subject best. If you do hit a wrong answer, refunds on Pro plans are handled case-by-case via support@fastsolve.app. Always read worked solutions before submitting on adaptive systems (ALEKS, Knewton Alta) which demote topics you only kind of know.
Academic integrity policies vary widely by institution and course. Some allow AI assistance with citation; many prohibit it on graded work. FastSolve is a tool — how you use it is your responsibility. Read your syllabus and your school's academic integrity statement before using any AI tool on assessed work.
