What students say about FastSolve
FastSolve works across Moodle and every major LMS. These are verbatim reviews from its Chrome Web Store listing.
“I've been using FastSolve Chrome Extension for a bit now and honestly it's super fast and really easy to use. You literally just double click a question and it gives you an answer almost instantly, which is kinda crazy. It works on a lot of different types of questions too, not just multiple choice. What I like most is how lightweight it is; it doesn't slow down my browser at all and everything feels smooth. The answers are usually accurate and helpful, especially when I'm stuck or just need a quick explanation.”
Chrome Web Store review
“This extension actually surprised me. I installed it just to try it out and it solved a few homework questions instantly.”
Chrome Web Store review
“Dope tool! Easy peasy to use and pretty quick. Faster than using co-pilot for Edge as well.”

FAQ
FastSolve on Moodle: FAQ
Yes. Moodle's drag-and-drop into text and drag-and-drop onto image questions are both supported. FastSolve identifies the targets, picks the right items, and triggers the drop events programmatically — including drag-and-drop markers for map and diagram questions.
FastSolve targets Moodle 3.x and 4.x, which covers the vast majority of active institutional installs. Older Moodle 2.x deployments may have inconsistent results because the question DOM changed substantially. MoodleCloud and self-hosted installs are both supported.
Yes. Calculated questions inject random variables into a formula at attempt-time — generic answer-lookup tools fail on these because every student sees different numbers. FastSolve solves the actual instance you're shown, computing the formula from the current variable values.
No. Moodle's quiz log captures attempt timing, page transitions, and submission events. It does not capture extension-driven input fills. FastSolve fills the field the same way typing does, so the log looks like an ordinary attempt.
Only when Safe Exam Browser is configured to allow Chrome extensions, which is uncommon. Most SEB deployments lock the browser and disable extensions — FastSolve cannot run there. It works on regular-Chrome Moodle quizzes, including most proctored ones outside SEB.
Yes. FastSolve generates a sized essay response in Moodle's HTML editor, including line breaks and paragraph structure. The essay is generated fresh per attempt, not pulled from a database — so two students answering the same prompt won't get identical text.
On Moodle math and STEM specifically, FastSolve is materially more accurate than copy-pasting into Mathway or ChatGPT — because FastSolve sees the original question, including images and embedded media, in context. Mathway needs you to retype the equation; ChatGPT loses any image context that Moodle attached to the question.
