Learn teaches the concept, Practice lets you attempt problems with full support — an interactive Step-by-Step tutor and an Explain Error breakdown when you miss — and Certify is the graded mastery check. In Certify the aids are gone: you must answer a fixed run of questions with only a small number of misses allowed, and exceeding that limit resets the certification so you start the run again with freshly generated problems.
